If that's the case then you should be more conscious about where and how you drive because that alone can be what's bending rims. The alternative is to just get a smaller wheel (18 inch) with a thicker tire to absorb the impact from the roads around you. Hopefully that helps.

Better to just get the same size for both if you're not into getting a smaller front both for your wheels and tires.

No performance benefit either if you're thinking of smaller wheels but super thick tires on the rear as the car's an AWD
