Larger tires & rims on front of GT2 AWD

Looking for anyone who has successfully fitted 255/35R20 on 20 X 9 rims with +32mm offset on the front end of Stinger GT2 AWD.
Be a Hero and let me know! Eh?
Cheers

I'm not one for larger rims and it doesn't seem like anyone has gone past the 19" point so far, meaning you could be the first to install a set of 20 X 9 rims on their Stinger. Not even sure if they'll fit right without rubbing at 32mm offset. Let usknow how it goes if you do end up trying this combination.

Why would you want to put bigger wheels and tires on just in the front?

I'd assume most sports cars have larger/wider rears instead of the front though staggered with larger in front may increase lateral traction. Would need some re-calibration and i would probably change out the rears as well.

Unless of course its a front wheel drive vehicle which in that case it make sense to have wider tires in the front if grip is really that important to someone but too often FWD drivers swap on a wheel/tire set that's more suitable for RWD applications.

Well the Stinger is offered in either rear- or all-wheel drive, so it's best to go with larger rears if you're really into the mod and you have a RWD. Otherwise it's probably better to stick with a four tires of he same size.

Even if someone gets AWD they're not limited in what they can do, if they wanted wider wheels with a deeper offset, maybe now they can just do that to all 4 wheels.

Prime example here of what they can do:

Of course you're not limited to just one size when it comes to the AWD Stinger, but the original question was if you can have larger tires up front and smaller in the rear. Which doesn't really make much sense to me when you have an AWD car.

Fact is you shouldn't because the only benefit is with looks. It might look good but doesn't accomplish anything in terms of performance. Not to mention all the people that will laugh at you.

Question about rims on the GT2. Has anyone had problems with bent rims yet? I’m seriously considering a GT2 before the end of the year but I’m a little gun shy of the 19” wheels. Had that on my Buick LaCrosse Touring and lost count of the repaired and replaced rims. Any input is greatly appreciated!
