Release over the weekend, the base model Stinger will cost $32,800, including destination. That's for the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 model and all-wheel drive is a 2,200 option. The 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 trim will cost $39,250, including destination.
Maybe at a later date? We won't know unless Kia or your dealership announces its availability. Sometimes the more powerful engine options are released after the standard models.
Also, you may need to wait a while before your ordered Stinger arrives because if it's anything like the short supply in Australia the wait could be up to two months: Two-month wait for Kia Stinger
Well, considering all these aspects, the earliest possible point of getting 2.0L Stinger in my area will be somewhere around March 2018 :/ I hope to hear more information from Kia by the end of this year.
I must say, the scariest part will be the fact that if they were to offer special edition trims we could see this as a Kia that easily tops the $50,000 price range to start. However there shouldn't be too many options to choose from as special editions come almost fully equipped.
