Turns out that the whole module needed to be replaced. According to the service manager, it was a hardware problem that could not be fixed with a re-flash. Fortunately it was all covered by KIA. I saw the detailed cost breakdown and between the new module at around $700 and labor of $300 the total cost was $1000.
Yes my stinger had it replaced today . They told me my car would relearn my driving style again.
I never noticed any problems with it at all . And am curious if anyone actually had a problem with theirs . What's really going on ?? I love my stinger . It is awesome in the snow . A very well made car . ♡♡♡♡♡
