There are some crazy limitations between the different GT trims. Here's the best of them:
Limited Slip Differential - optional on the GT, standard on the GT2, not available on GT1 (??)
Sunset Yellow - Limited availability on GT and GT2, not available on GT1 (??)
Nanny safety features - standard on GT2, optional on GT/GT1*
*most GT and GT1 models I've seen in-person have these added for a cost of around $2k.
Shift-by-Wire gear selector, Dynamic low-beam headlight assist, Smart trunk, 16-way (vs 12-way) driver adjustable, 12-way (vs 8-way) passenger adjustable seats, ventilated seats, Heads-up display - not available on GT/GT1, standard on GT2
Auto-dimming side mirrors, Power sunroof, Power adjust steering column, 7" color gauge cluster**, driver seat position memory, NAV and 15-speaker "upgrade" - not available on GT, standard on GT1 and GT2
**G-force meter, digital gauges oil temperature, torque, turbo boost PSI, chrono lap timer
Why am I posting this? To get the various limitations clear in my head. I initially insisted on the LSD, but the only way to get that is with the GT2, and that's $6k more than the GT1 which has everything else I want. I'll live without it.
