Hey guys - last night I drove 2 hours to a dealership in the middle of nowhere to pick up a car that has been on my mind for years.
It's a long story and I won't bore you with the details - but the Stinger was the car that piqued my interest in automotive enthusiasm. Until I took a Stinger GT for a test drive for the first time in 2018, I didn't really care much for cars at all.
Since then, I've owned an Ecoboost Mustang (performance package + 6mt trim, tuned) and a Shelby GT350, but both of those cars ended up being nothing but trouble and financial anguish. I've been driving an old, beat-up F-150 for the last year - and the burden of Ford ownership just got to be more than I could bear.
A Stinger GT popped up on Autotrader and I drove straight out to BFE, TX to pick it up. I'm so happy with this car. I've test-driven multiple Stingers over the years, but never pulled the trigger until now.
I've never really done much work on my own vehicles, but I am really excited to become a part of this community, and to learn more about my car by upgrading it and working on it.
