I hate how limited the paint option is for the entry-level model. I understand leaving out some special paints, but only offering the Stinger in three colors seems too little.
I guess this would be the cheapest way to get the 3.3T. GT trim, micro blue pearl, no options, and it's still $39,250... Do you consider getting AWD? cause if you do the price will go even higher (+$2,200).Agree! I would understand this move from Kia if the price difference between basic model and a higher trim wasn't that big, but $5,200 is too much for one more extra exterior color. So, to get red stinger (for example) you have to pay $38,350 which is $6,450 more than the basic trim level :/
Good enough of an excuse for me to consider wrapping it even if that means a partial wrap using colors Kia used in motorsports or even on their concepts. Sometimes all we need is a "blank canvas" of a car to do interesting things, especially when its as cool as the Stinger.I hate how limited the paint option is for the entry-level model. You should be more specific about where carbon wrap is going, the entire car or in specific areas you already have in mind? I'm assuming its the latter and if so some examples will help. As for the former its rare to see full carbon wrapped cars.Modifications, wrapping, and painting can be the answer for those who don't like how the basic Stinger looks and at the same time can't afford higher trim level. I'd love to see how Stinger will look with the carbon wrap on it. What do you think guys?
Sorry for the confusion. You should be more specific about where carbon wrap is going, the entire car or in specific areas you already have in mind? I'm assuming its the latter and if so some examples will help. As for the former its rare to see full carbon wrapped cars.
Now that you mention it, I don't see yellow as an option even though I could have sword the Stinger was supposed to come in that color. Maybe they're saving it for a later date or there's something wrong with the site...I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the discrepancy between places on the Kia website where it discusses the yellow paint RWD model as the only GT model that has the LSD, and the fact that I can't configure the car in yellow anywhere in the website?.
