You were at SEMA? Envious that you had a chance to see the Stinger in real life before they appear in showrooms. I heard a Kia driver was going to drift at Stinger at the event, did you get a chance to see that? There's also supposed to be something called a spirited autocross for people to test drive on.

I have little hope that the Borla system will do the Stinger any real good because after hearing the stock setup, it will take a lot to get a really rewarding exhaust system. My thinking is that we will need something headers-back, unless some exhaust maker comes out with a good sounding axle-back system.

Would a catback not be better? They usually create more power over an axleback. Probably best to leave it as stock for a while just to experience how it feels before making mods, though the Borla tips do look nice, especially because of the carbon fiber.

Is that orange paint going to be an option from factory or did Kia mix that paint especially for SEMA? Blue is nice and all, but the Stinger deserves some unique paint options like orange.

I found this video with "All colors option for Kia Stinger", not sure though if we can trust to this source. If yes, then orange color won't be a factory option.

As far as I know, there's around 6 colors available. At least that's the case in the UK though I can't imagine other markets varying from the list too much.
There's Sunset Yellow, Pearl White, Midnight Black, Ceramic Grey, HiChroma Red and Panthera Metal. There's no mention of blue on the list.

What do you guys think about Purple? I've heard rumors that it's going to be a special color for the Korean market.

Well to begin, the colors you get in your market will depend greatly and one great indicator of that will be through looking at what's currently offered. Often there's a correlation with colors and demographics. Plus its rare that a certain model would get all first time colors, often its being used elsewhere in the line up.
