Guess it was only a matter of time until the Stinger inspires the next generation of Kia vehicles and it seems to have started with the Forte. Mostly in the front with that tiger nose grille and there's supposed to be similarities on the inside as well.

My beef is at the fact we don't have more of the Stingers design going on here, its coupe like roof is at the very top of the list of what I want. Also the fact we should have gotten something RWD. The Stinger isn't cheap which leaves some space open for a compact RWD sedan.
Not sure if anyone saw this. Clearly its a marketing scheme, and not an actual track race. But they really do seem to have some confidence in their new stinger models. Lets hope this is just the beginning of high performance Kia's. I think the price bracket of the stinger is still a little high for the average driver as well...but I suppose its proof of concept.

Autoguide says the Forte's sloped rear end was designed to look like the Stinger's sportback, though I don't see it. Same with the headlights and taillights that's supposed to feature a similar array as the sports sedan.

At least it has circular vents.

There couldn't be a better time for the Koreans to come out with a supercar at the very least and I think they should really start with something that sits in the R8's segment then eventually get into hypercar territory. That way they can still make money while stimulating sales for that R8 rival and other cheaper products.

It's true that their timing is perfect, and the results so far of what the stinger is able to achieve after minor tuning, really shows what the platform will be capable of. Lets hope we see a stinger infusion into a variety of their current offerings. Considering the Stinger is their entry into the high performance market, they really don't have anywhere to go but up.
