The outcome isn't all that surprising, especially with the differences in torque output between these two cars. I'm actually surprised the GT was only a car length or two behind considering it has 110lb-ft less.

If they had done this test from a rolling start, I think the outcome would have been different. Imo the Stinger is still a way better value vehicle for the money.

I'm not offended but so what.
Put the two on a road course track and see who walks away with the most smiles. That's what i'm about.

A really unnecessary comparison and I don't know why every publication looks to benchmark new cars against Tesla's. Obviously they are going to have a huge advantage off the line. They should have at least chosen the AWD GT2.

Probably doesn't help this comparison that everyone I know looking at a Model S also likes the M5, along with models of that caliber. At that point its a hard choice between autonomy vs character.
