If they had done this test from a rolling start, I think the outcome would have been different. Imo the Stinger is still a way better value vehicle for the money.

The outcome isn't all that surprising, especially with the differences in torque output between these two cars. I'm actually surprised the GT was only a car length or two behind considering it has 110lb-ft less.

Put the two on a road course track and see who walks away with the most smiles. That's what i'm about.

A really unnecessary comparison and I don't know why every publication looks to benchmark new cars against Tesla's. Obviously they are going to have a huge advantage off the line. They should have at least chosen the AWD GT2.
Probably doesn't help this comparison that everyone I know looking at a Model S also likes the M5, along with models of that caliber.
